Chef/Owner Ramiro Gandaras, is proud to bring this unique hot spot in Louisville, Kentucky as well as more recently at Jeffersonville, Indiana! Please stop in for the relaxing atmosphere, delicious fresh food, and refreshing beverages. Introducing Louisville’s premier authentic, Mexican cuisine. Ramiro's Cantina and Ramiro's Cantina Express are both family-owned restaurants in the Kentuckiana area, specializing in authentic fresh Mexican cuisine and Mexican food. Our Louisville, Kentucky restaurant is located in the Clifton neighborhood on historic Frankfort Avenue--alongside numerous other unique shops, restaurants, boutiques and art galleries. Our Express location in Jeffersonville, Indiana restaurant is located in the downtown neighborhood of Jeffersonville--alongside numerous other unique shops and boutiques. We are proud to be a winner of the LEO Reader's Choice Award for Best Margarita, and we were recently reviewed by Courier-Journal restaurant critic Marty Rosen, who wrote... "What sets Ramiro’s apart from many of its competitors is a kitchen that creates the sort of fresh, vivid flavors we want from Mexican food, but so seldom find."
